Take that, you charitable organization!!!

 

Yes, Last night I yelled at a solicitor claiming to be from a charitable organization called The Donations for America’s Veterans Corporation……

 

At exactly 7:54 last night they called and I picked up the phone and I SCREAMED at them….the kid on the receiving end of my rant panicked, promised to add me to their ‘do not call’ list and spent the rest of the call apologizing…..

now, the reason I picked up the phone yelling, didn’t even wait to see if it was my 80yr old grandmother on the other end, is because it was 7:54….every day for the past 6 weeks they call….9:54am, 12:54, 2:54, 4:54, 5:54, 6:54, 7:54, and 9:54pm……EVERY DAY.

But why didn’t we just block the number? there was no number, only our caller id displaying an error message, and every time we answered after the first ring, we heard 3 clicks and that darn ‘phone off the hook’ beeping….every time….they filled up out answering machine with that every day…..well, I had enough, there I sat at 7:53, finger on the button, Red Bull in my belly, and a ton of evil, evil thoughts running through my head…..yes last night I slept soundly knowing that somewhere there is a 13-14 year old boy terrified that some evil American guy is going to jump out of his phone and strangle him in his sleep......

 

Yes, I laid into that CORPORATION....a foreign company based in Argentina according to my panicking young fisher(in between his constant apologies)…. that doesn’t even exist….who splits 50/50 any donations that the kid pulls in….and he gets a bonus for every credit card number or bank account number he gets….isn’t that a scary though?

 

 

And really, no one else is picking up Red Faciton??
