Politics are driving me nuts.

I went as long as I could without poking my head out from under my rock….and the first thing I see, Obama orders car companies to make more fuel efficient vehicles….Did I miss him declaring this a communist state? Because last I checked, he can’t do that….he can suggest, recommend, ask, beg, bribe (well, maybe not bribe) them to do something, but order?....

next on the list, both Republicans and Democrats demand for Pelosi’s head on a silver platter….I say HORAY!!! I’m not sure why, I must have missed that durring my period of media blackout, ….not that they need a reason, because she disserves it….if something happened to the prez and VP, I think having her running this country would be the end of everything....fire raining from the sky, babies eating their mothers....my wife will voluntarily watch Transformers.....all the signs of the appocolypse and hell freezing over.

and the really interesting one was when I was leaving work…there were a small group of protesters (they all looked like dirty hippies) they were carrying signs that said “say no to war, say yes to universal healthcare for all”, “end the violence, stop the American war criminals”, and my favorite “in war 90% of the casualties are civilians”........Um….not revisiting all the reasons why universal health care won’t work, the war crimes stuff just shows how misinformed they are, and the 90% civilians….um…yeah, if that stat wasn’t made up I’ll eat my desk calculator.  but weren’t we past this? didn’t the hippies get the “free love” president they wanted? So why aren’t’ they blaming him for the war’s continuation?....
