Get Your PWN On!

I have already received some interest from site members about the Pwnathon.  It's great to see people start getting excited about helping us do some good for Child's Play.  This event isn't just something that's being done for 2old2play, it's by the members.  Without people stepping up to manage these events, they won't happen.  There are tons of ways people can get involved. 

To start simple, you could help us spread the word.  A lot of people stick to their clan forums and don’t really check blogs regularly.  That’s fine, in fact, that’s part of what 2old2play is about.  We would like to see people come for this event though.  You can help by posting a Pwnathon thread in your clan forum just to let people know what’s coming.  I’d appreciate a link back to this blog or to our teaser video.

If you want to step it up a notch, you can spread some Pwn every time you post with a user bar.  If you have something else in mind, just send me a PM.  We’d be happy to make you a Pwn sig with your clan name and gamer tag.  Just add this code to your sig code for the user bar:

Most importantly, we need people to participate in getting events planned.  We’re trying to keep the Pwnathon planning crew lean and efficient, but if you’re part of a group that isn’t represented, we’d be happy to add you.  That being said, you don’t have to be in the planning crew to plan an event.  I’d love for us to have some events planned by different clans or groups.  We already have one group discussing this; I’d love to have more.
