Only thing I know of that removes spray paint is Acetone but I don't know how harmful it'll be to the real paint on your car.

I 'm with dastard, if that doesn't work, try asking your local body shop if they can take it off with a buffer.

I ran over a bag of striping paint and I used gasoline to get it off. Be sure to follow up with a good car washing and wax to protect the original paint.

I agree on the acetone/gasoline/rubbing compound and buffer. \r \r All 3 should do the trick. The longer it sits the harder it is to get off.

whoa, don't use acetone on your car. that shit'll strip the real paint off too. like joebob says, use gasoline. it's strong enough to get the spray paint off but shouldn't be strong enough to ruin the normal paint.....unless it's really old and fading already.

Durty, I used to paint cars for a living and later managed a Body Shop. Don't use gas, acetone or any other active chemical...It would help if I knew the year and make/model of your car, but anything in the last 15 years domestic, or 20 years foreign, will have a clearcoat. these chemicals will damage the clear. Try the powerwash...but don't put it right on the surface or too close to the paitn..sta 8-10 inches away...what dose not come off in the wash will need to be removed by abrasion...buffing or clay bar...I would pick the clay bar for lay people. Local auto parts is your best bet for that, follow the instructions...

I was gonna go with gasoline, but id follow g_40's advice, he would know best given his profession. Err gas is good for removing tar as long as you wash it good imedatly following the gas.. but thats what worked for me..my car was also an 86 at the time..\r good luck, I know how you feel. \r \r I can tell you from personal experiance, and the fact that I use to egg cars quite regularly ( when I was 16 and a punk on the run) that its more than 1 that did it, and its a group of teens. You will more than likely never catch them, and even though it sucks its not worth it to get so angry over, simply because it will do you harm physically and mentally to stress it. I stoped egging the day i came out and there was bologna all over my car, my car was polka dotted till I sold it a year later..learned my lesson. bologna, pickles, menthol shaving cream fuck up a paint job good!

i used some of this Awesome All Purpose Cleaner ®\r \r http://www.lastotallyawesome.com/faq.html on my van when somebody used a can of somekind of spray paint. they sprayed a big heart wit tony+val in the middle. the stuff tuff all the spray stuff right off worked nice for me

I saw all those things with gas, acetone and such....that will destroy your paint...do not do that. I would suggest a clay bar like g 40 said. I actually just came in from cleaning my car with the clay bar and a good wax. Didn't have any rim cleaner though :(
