Shared on Thu, 03/12/2009 - 07:09Today I walked into my boss’s office and told him I watned to take a 5 day weekend so I can drive to Chicago to play videogames and get drunk as hell...all in the name of charity….he said ok!!!
Ok, that’s not too surprising….what is surprising is that it appears my lovely wife will be able to go as well!!!
So, Doodi, Reserve us 2 spots, because it looks like we are LAN-ward bound!
Now on to the Details, we want to drive from Harrisburg, PA to Chicago, take a nice leisurely drive there and back, (we thought about flying, but we want this to be a nice easy-going vacation) leaving Thursday morning or possibly Wednesday evening. We may have 2 seats available for a carpool we’ll have to figure out how much room we’d need for luggage and gear(and Yuengling). But if anyone is interested in a carpool, or just following us, let me know.
The catch….there is a (slim) chance that our leave may be disapproved, if that happens we would most likely know by early to mid May)
Also, I’m off work tomorrow….this week just keeps getting better.
