3 Days to the Big Event!

So I am beginning to feel a bit like a Circus juggler with all of the PM's, Twitter dm's, XBL messages and FR's and emails that I have been receiving from both 2old2play members and others from outside this Community who are interested in joining us for the first 2old2play XBL Community Playdate on Sunday night. (Check the yellow banner at the top of this page for information on this event if you need it.). Currently, we have 10 rooms set up and it looks like we will be adding at least 3 - 5 more by Sunday. The special Gamer Tag (Meet2old2play) that we set up to keep track of everyone on Sunday was almost maxed out at 100 Friends when I last logged in to check messages before work this morning. Be sure to send a Friend Request to this Gamer Tag if you have not done so already. We will be giving away a few prizes in conjunction with this event and the winners will be chosen by a random drawing pulled from those who are on the Friends List of this Silver Account Gamer Tag on Sunday. By the nature of the way the system works, only the first 100 people to send out a Friend Request will be added to this list and thus eligible to win prizes, so send out those Friend Requests ASAP.

I found out from doodirock late last night that our new member registrations here at 2old2play have jumped from an average of 10 per week to over 60 per week in response to this event. Based on this information, you can rest assured that we will be hosting more events like this in the future. So if you have any suggestions on the types of events that you would like to see here at 2old2play, send me a pm with your ideas. I have already heard from folks wanting events that focus on Halo 3, COD (in its many forms) and the upcoming Street Fighter IV. The sky is the limit, so let me hear your thoughts.
