My personal top 10 favorite movies….now I don’t normally keep these numbered so in no particular order….

Children of Men – makes a fantastic statement about how people will react when the human race faces extinction. A beautiful movie, it has a way of changing the way you look at the world.
The Shawshank Redemption – showing just a glimps at the harsh conditions inside a 1960s prison. Over all it really says something about how people survive under dire conditions.
Night of the Living Dead(1968 ) – as a movie, brilliant, as a statement about society, extremely brilliant.
eXistenZ – aside from its direct references to the gaming culture, its complex plot, spectacular twists, and shocker ending…it covers all its bases as a great movie.
Airplane! – slapstick humor at its greatest.
Logan’s Run – Renew, Renew!! Another great view of society. When we are part of the corrupt machine, will we see the whole picture without separating ourselves from our place in the grand plan?
Death Race 2000(1975) – another view of the potential direction the world may take in the futuristic year of 2000. But seriously, how many movies have David Carradine beating the tar out of Sylvester Stallone.
Transformers – lets face it, we’ve been waiting for this movie since the early 80s, and they pulled it off better than we dreamed.
Saw – the first, the best. It was low budget with minimal actors and no extras….and the only movie I’ve ever been to that had 6 adults in the theater, and all of them were curled up in a ball screaming in agony and still leaving the theater in complete awe.
Revolver(2005) – I’m still working this movie out in my head…the plot was so complex, so intricate, so well planned….I have watched it many times, and still find new stuff every time.

now I will start working on my 10 worst movies list....
