So all week the radio station i listen to is giving away AC/DC tickets. Once an hour they play the hells bells tones today and then you have to be caller 10. There will be a different sound every day i assume. Then all week any time they play two AC/DC songs back to back, you can call in at the start of the 2nd song. And at 8:15am every morning is the phrase that pays, they give you some stupid thing to say on the radio and if you're caller 12 and say the stupid thing, you get first 5 row tickets.
Lots of opportunity to win right? So far today i haven't heard a single ring tone. I keep getting busy or the all circuits busy announcement. Probably will be 4 more opportunities left today to win and then i'll try again tomorrow. I've got the radio station as a hot key on my phone so i just hang up and re-dial over and over. It's killing my battery, i don't normally use the phone this much for dialing
I've been walking around the office all day with my cheap'o MP3 player which has an FM receiver built in. Man does this thing eat up batteries. To keep the tunes going all day, i blew through two older 2500mah AA's and one no-name alkaline battery (it only takes 1 AA battery). Insane right? I gotta walk around with a 4 pack of rechargable batteries tomorrow haha.
Looks like tickets if i don't manage to win any will be 95 bucks plus fees and mailing so probably 100 bucks out the door. Sunday i'll be sitting here waiting for the clock to strike 10am so i can get my seats.
Oh i also figured out the internet streaming feed of the radio station is 30 seconds behind the FM broadcast. So i can't use the computer, that's a loosing solution.
The game continues ....
