VEGAS BABY, YEAH!!!

In a little over 18hrs. I will be on my way to Sin City…Yes that’s right boys and girls, it is my yearly superbowl trip weekend to Las Vegas!!!

 

In about 23 hrs. I plan to start embalming myself with round after round of tasty cocktains, served to me by a waitress with bulbous breastises (sp!!!) jiggling in my face…

 

For over 14 years now, my buddies and I make the annual trip to Vegas to gamble, act like stupid men, and eat at a local steak house. The past few steak houses we have gone to are:

 

 

 

 

Del Fresco’s not that good, do not waste your time

There are a few others, but the names escape me, due to my progression of the embalming process before dinner. This year we are going to “The Steak House” in the Circus Circus…WTF…the steak house is supposed to be one of the top ones in Vegas. But Jesus Christ, I have to walk through Circus Circus to get to it…CC is nasty, plain and simple, in needs to be blown up, set on fire, and then built as something else..my skin is crawling just thinking about it. But my buddy is determined to try this place out, and we have a bet, if the food is bad (which his past 2 choices have sucked balls…see Del Fresco’s and the Steak house at the Hard Rock) he will pay for my meal, and I get to pic the food place for the next 2 years. I am secrectly hoping it is so bad, that by buddy even says it is crappy. Keep you fingers crossed.

 

On Saturday we have appointments for shaves at the Barber shop in the hotel we are staying at. I have always wanted to have a straight blade shave…you know, the hot towel, Frank playing in the back ground, the hole 9 yards and last year I finally had one.. Well this guy has it down to a T. He has been doing it for over 30 years, he was the personal barber/shaver to the Buffalo Bills (when they were good back in the day). He moved out to vegas a few years ago, and has never looked back. I asked him the first time I got a shave from him if he minded to tell me how much of a living he makes off of shaving face…He paused and said, well last year I cleared in the low 6 figures….WTF!!! I quickly figured out if he might be BS’ing me by a little math…a shave is 45 bucks/ 53 with 20% tip (trust me, it is worth it..we also get cocktail service while we are there) and it takes about 40 minutes to do. That is about 10-12 shaves a day. If he does not take 2 weeks off a year, he fucking clears 165,360.00 dollars a year…WOW. Now the shop probably gets a cut of that, so I am assuming he is clearing 120K…I am in the wrong line of work.

 

This year, I will also be…shaving my head and getting…(wait for it)…a pedicure…Da..DAAAAAA!!!! Yep…I am going to chick out and get my feet done…My wife tells me they are really nice, and they will get all the dead skin and stuff off my feet. I live in SoCal and am barefoot about 75% of the time, in fact if I could get away with it I would be barefoot all of the time. So my feet are pretty beat up…so I figured what the hell.

Today’s Shots:

 

 

1 part Irish cream

1 part peach schnapps

2 parts pineapple juice

Whipped Cream

 

Shake the Irish cream, peach schnapps, and pineapple juice with ice and strain into a shot glass. Top with whipped cream

 

 

3 parts vodka

1 part Southern Comfort

1 part amaretto

1 part sloe gin

1 part triple sec

2 parts peach schnapps

Splash of orange juice

Splash of cranberry juice cocktail

 

Shake with ice and strain into a shot glass

 

 

1 shot (1 to 2 oz) cinnamon schnapps

1 to 2 drops clover honey

 

Mix the schnapps and honey in a shot glass. Coat the rim of the shot glass with honey, if desired. Use more or less honey to taste.
