Here are a couple of pictures of the wildlife where I work.

This was taken aprox 200 yards behind my office.

Here is one of the smaller herds

Very nice. Living on the banks of the Mississippi, I see pushboats all the time and wondered what they were called. I have often argued with people, "They can't be tug boats, they are pushing the barges." Me and mom carpool to work and we always look at the name of the boats going through the locks. Watching boats lock through in is a past time for folks in our area (being Iowans, we it doesn't take much to get our attention).

If you're going to line up the blog header with your avatar, at least make it some half naked chick. ;-)

Melvin R. Todd....hmmm.....where does the name come from? Just curious. Seems like an interesting job, but I certainly couldn't be away from my family that long....well, maybe some of my family I could. :)
