My rant about console fanboys that diss PC gamers

WTF!  Lately with the BioShock issues console fanboys are going to PC forums and bashing PC gamers saying that's why they don't play PC games.  Like the 360 doesn't have problems - corrupting saves, crappy friends list (compared to what you can do on PC), sometimes games need patches on first time loading, red ring of death, scratched discs that are unreadable, XBLA DRM issues, etc...  Saint's Row multiplayer wasn't playable until the late patch.  MLB 2k6 would corrupt saves until the patch.  Does anyone remember the Halo 3 beta launch issues?  They extended it a couple of days because of that.

I play games on both PC and 360.  This year, so far, I have had more problems with my 360 than PC.  So this one issue with BioShock shouldn't represent PC gaming.  I've had all of those problems that I listed for the 360, including a hard drive read error.

I just thumbed you up just to prove a point ;) On topic - the perspective of these console fanboys would be more helpful if they actually owned a gaming PC. I paid for my 360, I think i have more of a right to complain and obviously a little perspective from having one.

I don't get it, either. I don't play on the pc anymore, but that's my deal. I think sometimes some people do it just to make themselves feel better about their purchase, like they're only trying to convince themselves. This goes for fanboyism of any type. FWIW, I think my 360 HDD is starting to crap out on me, and my pc HDD is over 3 years old, never even a hiccup.
