Wedding Plans

So we have about 4 weeks left till the wedding takes place.

Last night we went through the book given to us by our pastor to pick out and customize our ceromony.  Which pretty much consisted of me looking at music videos on demand on TV while she read the stuff out loud and I would respond with "nope" or "okie".  We are almost done tayloring the ceromony itself.  I swear I will end up smoking again before this is over and done with. 

We have the music picked out.  I only had a few additions I wanted to listen to during the cocktail hour, a few tunes by the police and a few from Sting....I know, I know, but I enjoy the music non-the-less.

I just got a call asking if we could PLEEEASE have a limo, I completely forgot about it.  Frankly, I think its a waste of money in certain ways, but what the hell am I going to say? No?  I don't think so.  She got a 10 passanger limo for 3 hours for $375, which is a ok deal I suppose.  It will pickher up from the house and then take us from the ceromoney to the reception place. 

We went out last weekend and picked up the arch we wanted as well as the tulle...whatever the hell that is, I think its some sort of lace you wrap on stuff to make it look pretty.  As well as picking up the flower ropes you wrap around stuff.  Lots of stuff.

We ordered some Memory candles.  Memorium candles I think they are called.  Basically they have the name of loved ones that have passed away.  She got one that is for her sister Liz, who passed on a few years ago from a brain tumor, and it has her grandmother on it as well.  We got one for my grandmother who passed away two weeks ago or so from her brain tumor.  We also got a nice one for my best-man's daughter, we aren't telling him about it, we want it to be a surprise.

I have to go this week to get fitted for a Tux.  Have to drag my best man with me, but I don't want to press him into action since he is still in a low place from his daughter passing away the way she did.  I let him know I wouldn't have any bad feelings if he wasn't up to this, but he refused to entertain the thought ( he is a good guy), besides I think he needs something to get him active. 

Looks like I have to find a place to stay the night before the wedding though.  Amy was originally going to stay over at her parent's house to get ready, but that place will be a zoo, so she is staying at our house, and I want to stick with some tradition and not see her until the wedding starts. I am going to try and either stay at my best mans apartment or I am going to a hotel.  No way am I staying at my parent's house.  That would send me right over the edge.
