Two extra children....

Well, my check finally hit the bank today. I am trying my damnest not to be brook by the weekend. That’s what happens every time. I pay the bills that have to be paid, and buy groceries, and just like that..no money. I will be glad when that is over. Soon. I am Hopeful. Tonight was a good night. We had a little family dinner time, which is always nice. My mom had sent me a gift card for Pei Wei. Not much it was a free gift one of them had gotten in the mail for a survey or something they had filled out. $10.00. So we ate there and used the gift card, and didn’t spend too much. It was nice. Then we went over to Target and walked around a bit. Bought the DVD complete series of FireFly and will watch it again. It is one of my favorite shows..I can’t believe it got cancelled. That sucks. Speaking of that they cancelled DRIVE too..now that makes me even angrier. It was a great show. I couldn’t wait until it came on again. It didn’t get the ratings that they were anticipating and so they pulled the plug..again. Nathan Fillion is going to be black balled, and for no real good reason. He is an amazing actor and not to mention an extreme hottie. I watched him when he was a young one on One Life to Live as Joe Bucanon.

Anyway back to my other random thoughts. My neighbor is allergic to egg, and anything that even comes remotely close to egg. So eating at fast food restaurants is sometimes challenging. Anyway she bought a box dinner of chicken and dumplings I think she said, but she bought a different brand this time than she normally does and about four bites into it she realized that it had egg in it. Her tongue started to swell. She had left her epi-pen at her desk at work and forgot to bring it home on her last day. So she took about three benadryl that she had left and called her mother in law across the street and she came over with some liquid benadryl and she drank about half the bottle. She felt a little better, but she called her doctor to let her know that she had taken quite a bit..Oh by the way she is somewhere in between 14-18 weeks pregnant. The doctor called her back and she has to go to the ER immediately and be checked out. He told her that the amount of medication she took could be harmful to the baby. This is her second child, and her previous doctor told her that if she did not have her epi-pen she could take up to 10 benadryl while pregnant and it wouldn’t hurt the baby. So now she is freaking out and on her way up to the ER..And finally the point to this story is I have two extra children for the evening. Hmmmmmm…….well I guess that I have rambled enough for the moment….later
