I rented Viva Pinata the other night and when I check out the "customer service representative" informs me I was late returning a vhs copy of "The Pacifier". Okay I say, how long ago was that? Last summer (I don't rent movies anymore). The movie was returned and late fee paid? Yes. I was informed my account was flagged.
What does that mean?
I rented another game tonight and apparently it means that everytime I rent something they will say:
"We were quite late returning the pacifier, weren't we? Let me get the manager."
The $10.00 late fee was paid, right? Of course. Apparently this doesn't matter. Arrgh!
It's moments like these that make me love Netflix, and leaves no doubt as to why Blockbuster and ilk are going down the tubes. With the advent of movie downloads by Netflix, XBL and others, it is only a matter of time.
P.S. If you sent me a game invite over the last few days, I apologize, either my daughter or I were as iuney said "shoving snickers up Pinata axxhxles." Don't worry, I'm better now.
