New Years Eve=Bleck in Baine-land

So, New Years is rapidly approaching.  Among other things, my Niece turns 16 on New Years Eve, she is having a large party with her friends from her synchronized swim team over at my parents house.  So I would like to take this time to wish my parents the best of luck, they are going to need it.

I enjoy New Years Eve, its a nice night to have a perfect excuse to sit around the tube with the family and just yammer on and on about stuff that happened over the past year and laugh at things that were aggrevating when it first happened.  This year since its going to be our first New Year's Eve in our first house we thought it would be nice to invite our closest friends over, my fiance' is having her best friends over, they are a great couple, he is a gifted musician who just writes songs no one is interested in...go figure and she is just a really great person to be around in a non-confrontational way.  So I figured I would also ask my good friend and his new wife over, he is a 360 gamer aswell and goes by the Live name of Goodnite, we are pretty similar although all the things I do that make me look stupid, he does and makes him look cool....(hey wait a minute..thats not cool...).  But I digress, I thought this would be a nice night, we can site around, have some snack food and what not and just ring in the New Years with Dick Clark.

Then I hear the words that most men fear from their better halves:

"Hun, I invited my parents over aswell...."

......................................................silence..............................................

Well, I am sure it won't be all that bad.

oh ffs...
