A few people on the forums have received IM's from a chinese company looking for gamers to "rent' WoW characters. You pay them in virtual gold (which they can then go sell online). They say all their farming is done "legally" - because they're handing out accounts for gamers to use with a 30 to 50 gold "fee" for playing.

The person that will IM you can barely speak English, I validated he was from China. I cannot remember the IM name but it sounded like a company name (not a username). All those that have mentioned it have been 2old2play members, I have a feeling the person is going through our userbase for anyone that has their IM's listed in their profile.

The person will use a massive amount of IM "speak" with "ur" instead of "you are" and such.

I told him I wasn't interested because a) no time, b) the site was barely understandable but written in English, and c) 'im speak' isn't a professional way to run a company. You want customers, pretend your a pro.
