Shared on Sat, 09/30/2006 - 20:40So i was browsing eBay tonight. I've got mild interest in picking up the Xbox360 Live Vision Camera. I think 40 bucks is a bit too much since it comes with lots of junk I don't need. Just sell the the camera for 29.99. Anyway i was hoping to pick one up used or discounted on ebay, but all those F*cktards are STILL trying to make a profit off reselling them.
Ok fine, when Toys R Us put them on the shelves 1 month early by accident and people bought them up by the armload to resell for a profit, i can see that. I can see how people would justify paying 50 or 60 bucks for something to be the elite and have it a month earlier than the general public. I totally get it.
But what are these morons on ebay thinking now? See unfortuniatly because of the Toys R Us thing, there's been an artificial street price set for the camera on ebay now that is just rediculous. People are still trying to sell these things for 45,50,60 bucks for the 39.99 package. Hello? I can walk into any big box store or video game store and walk out with this thing for 39.99 if i wanted to pay full price.
Such is the problem with ebay. I guess it's a bit like the realestate market now. Joe's neighbor sold his for 800k 9 months ago. Now Joe's decided to sell his house except the market's gone cold. he want's 800k for his house too but buyers are telling him to shove it. The market conditions have changed, Joe needs to sell at market value or not sell at all. Same with the camera.
Anyway i sent a bunch of eBay messages to all those morons telling them what they can do with their $50 asking prices.
