Well, we've apparently been on slashdot.org all morning thanks to doodi's 1080p posting that occured. Notice it has over 5,000 reads and we've experienced no outrages. This was not just a slashdot.org post, but a frontpage attack. We've often survived a slashing when they post it in the games section but when it is promoted to the hompage...we usually fall over nearly instantaniously.
Alas, we just realized we were on their page. It's nice to realize it by number of reads than by "server down" messages :-)
