Installed some new Roxio burning software....restarted the machine. It quit booting completely into Windows. So I try to go into Safe Mode...."Windows Setup can only be run in Normal Mode. Restarting Now." Then it resets.
Tried repair installing Windows. Nothing. I was so scared I was gonna lose my 20 GB of music and my Suicide Girls photo sets. Money was spent on those.
Figured out a "reach around my ass to scratch my nose" technique thats slow but working on backing up all my stuff. I pulled out my main hard drive, I slapped it into another pc as the 2nd hard disc, and now Im copying everything over from that drive to my 300GB external. Thank God I bought that thing not too long ago.
So all my music and everything is in the process of being backed up. Its taken about 2 days since the total stuff was lik 80GB of files being transfered through USB 1. Sadly the pc Im using didnt have USB 2.0. Sucks...but its better than losing all my data.
Once its done copying Im gonna put it back into my tower, format the fuck out of it and then reinstall Windows fresh....then spend the rest of the week "because thats how long it will take" getting it back to what it was before it died.
I have so much software to reinstall....so many bookmarks to refind (Unless someone can show me how to get to my firefox bookmarks file?) Cant find it. Codecs to configure....oh man....its gonna be so slow going.
The only upside to this was that I was planning on formatting within a month or so anyways...but this was a hell of a way to have to do it.
This weekend has also sucked ass so far because I havent been able to see Julia at all. Shes been sick because her monthly visitor which went away for a day or two then came back with a vengeance. So her sugar is really high, she feels like shit, her mom is being a bitch to her and making her clean up her mothers and younger sisters messes, and shes getting no sleep. This is pushing her towards the bad side of possibilities. And I swear if that bitch ends up pushing Julia back into the hospital, she'll end up in a fucking body bag. That woman is the only person I have ever met that if she died...I would not shed a tear for her. I would tap dance on her grave. And shes the first person I would not mind putting in a grave. I allready have the tarps and pigs on standby. >:)
Anyway....enough of this rant. Its pissin me off and I don't need that right now.

PC: Pentium 4 2.8 ghz 800mhz FSB , 1.8gb of RAM
Last Software installed before it crashed: Roxio Easy CD&DVD Creator 6, I had just uninstalled Roxio 8 before installing this.
Symptoms: Wont boot into XP. As soon as the Windows XP screen comes up, a dark blue screen with yellow text pops up really quick, dissapears then the pc restarts. Rinse, lather, repeat.
What I think happened: Something corrupted my Master Boot Record and my boot config files. Dunno how...it just happened.
