Ain't It Cool News is reporting that Vin Diesel will not appear in the role of Agent 47. Instead the role will go to Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood).
From the beginning of the movies announcement Vin's name was attached to the role and most expected the video game loving actor to confirm such suspicions. In any case, we think Timothy Olyphant is a great addition to the film and if you have seen HBO's Deadwood then you probably feel the same way.
Another plus for the movie is the addition of Luc Besson as co-producer. As writer of The Fifth Element, you can only expect great things from Besson and his crew. 20th Century Fox plans on releasing the film next fall. Why can't all movie productions move with quick?
