New Releases: Week of December 8, 2014

 Welcome to this weeks New Releases. Now that we are in full on Holiday mode, baking, shopping and traveling, how will we ever find the time to game? Hopefully, with these upcoming games, you’ll find the time to squeeze in a little Tomb Raiding, find The Dark Below in your Destiny or the Iron for your Throne from Ice. So take a break, grab a cookie and some eggnog and check these off your list.

Destiny: The Dark Below

 The first expansion to Bungie’s hit shooter game, boast new raids, upgraded Legendary weapons and armor (sorry XBox players, that sweet shotgun is only for PS players), Light level cap increase and added five additional bounty slots. Along with a new character that adds to the ever expanding universe of Destiny. Eris brings warnings, from years of hiding within the Hive, of a new threat; Crota, a god the Hive will try and summon to destroy Earth. You can find her in the Tower to receive your new missions and prove your worth.

 

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris

 Taking place deep in the deserts of Egypt, Lara joins with rival treasure hunter, Carter Bell, and ancient Egyptian gods Horus and Isis to defeat the evil god Set. In the latest installment to the Lara Croft series you play four player co-op to defeat legendary deities, solve devious puzzles, fight off hordes of enemies, and compete for treasures; all while trying to reclaim the fragments to Osiris to stop the evil Set. With stunning visuals and a brand new story this is sure to be an adventure you will want to share with your closest friends and treasure hunters.

 

Game of Thrones - Episode 1: Iron From Ice

 Releasing on PS3, Episode 1: Iron From Ice is based on HBO's award-winning television drama Game of Thrones, and tells the story of House Forrester. This six-episode game series begins with events towards the end of Season Three of the TV show, and ends right before the beginning of Season Five. You will visit familiar locations such as King's Landing and The Wall, as well as unfamiliar locations such as Ironrath, the home of House Forrester. You play the game from five different points of view, each character you play as is a member of House Forrester; either a direct family member, or a person in service to the House. Scattered across Westeros and Essos, each character will play their part in seeking to save House Forrester from destruction. Caught up in the events of The War of the Five Kings, they are placed in a precarious position where members of the household must do everything they can to prevent the house from meeting its doom.

 

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy

As a new feature, the Japanese version of the game -- Gyakuten Saiban 123 Naruhodo Selection -- is included, giving players the option to switch between the Japanese and English versions in-game.
