After the a long day of speculation and a ton of page refreshing, the beta site is now officially open and taking applicants.
Many people had found the direct link given out in the bungie forums as well as showing up on digg.com although it was uncertain if registrars would be given the opportunity to participate in the beta if they filled out the forum before the official site launch. Well now the wait is over and any who visits Halo3.com has a chance at the beta.
Please keep in mind that the beta will have many more opportunities for entry and we suspect users will have more then enough chances to try out the game come beta release so be patient. Entering your name does not guarantee you will receive the beta, but only places you in the pool of applicants to be chosen. Given that the link has already been on digg and other news sites, that pool is about the size of the Indian Ocean by now.
