Halo 1 & 2 in High Definition For 360

Bungie has confirmed that the 360 will allow both Halo and Halo 2 to be display in wonderful 720p format. At this time, the original xbox can only display the game up to the 480p resolution. The new boost should give everyone with HDTV an even more crisp look. This doesn't mean that anything in the game itself has changed. The content is totally the same and people without HDTV wont notice any difference on their 360. One big change that a high resolution will bring is that of split screen. With more screen real estate, players will have less of the screen being taken up by HUD and Ammo menus. My only question is, what about 1080i? My HDTV doesnt support 720p so am I out of luck now? Looks like I may be getting yet another gift for myself this Christmas. Oh well, it's still good news.
