
Theabovedomain.com had a picture of what looked like GOW underground battle going on with a release date of 12/24 below.
It appeared as though the CoG were repelling through a locust hole into their world. The title of the web page was Re-Emergence Day and when we took a look at the domain registrar, we found this:

It was all interesting, but turned out that Microsoft was not using viral marketing to sell its' downloadable content. We did find it strange that MS would use viral marketing for downloadable content that is supposedly going to be free. Usually free content takes care of itself in terms of self-promotion. In any case, the site is still online from the URL below.

The site was confirmed as a hoax by Epic VP Mark Rein. To bad, we were looking forward to a set date for some juicy DLC.
