Nintendo clearly wants to make us all forget about the GameCube. While Zelda: Twilight Princess will be readily available on the Wii (everywhere, including Australia) they're allowing EB to monopolize the 'Cube copy.
Apparently there will be one shipment sent to EBGames Australia; for those that want this release of the game and live in Australia will have to find a copy as fast as possible.

This isn't the first "exclusive" that a game retailer has gotten. EBGames also allows you to unlock the Mazda RX-7 *FREE* in NFS: Carbon. Apparently, in Carbon, you can purchase cars (cough cough, micropayment) and EB will give you a car free. Better yet, once you're emailed the code for the free unlock you will be unable to cancel your pre-order.
How many other deals will EB/GameStop make to offer more additional content that isn't available to other retail outlets? Since when do retail shops get exclusive access to sell a game to a specific country? Very odd indeed.
