Universal Pictures genre label Rogue has teamed up with Paul W.S. Anderson's to create Castlevania
for the silver screen.
You may remember Anderson from his other trial into the gaming world with Resident Evil and the later Alien vs. Predator. This time around Anderson has been given a $50 million dollar leash, so lets hope we he can deliver the goods. They plan on shooting next spring and are currently scouting locations in Hungary and Romania while all castle interiors will be shoot in Budapest.
While little is known about the script, news has spread that it will takes place in 15th century Transylvania. Anderson was quoted as saying, "You could almost call this movie Dracula Begins." Lets just hope we don't get another cookie cutter bad game adaptations on the same level as Mario Brothers. Im crossing both controllers on this one.
