Latest rumor hitting the Net, gamers in Australia may be looking at a short Wii supply. Man that sounds aweful.
Ok, enough with the short Wii jokes. Nintendo Australia has not announced the Wii supply list yet. We now know the US will be receiving 1-million units but the Australian figures are still "being finalized."
Nintendo Australia spokesperson Vispi Bhopti says Australia will have a significant supply of consoles during its December 7th launch but they cannot guarantee "total supply" to the country.
If they're talking about not having a guarantee on supply but know exactly how many the US is getting it can probably mean one thing: They're unsure that they will get what they need. You can probably read that many ways, that's what makes a good rumor, but the end result is uncertainty. Gamers hate that word.
