I told you we would be back at it again. This time we are giving away a copy of the recently reviewed, Forza 2 for the Xbox 360. So if you're a 2old2play member and over 25, read up.
Why are we doing this?
In the coming months, 2old2play will be launching its Senior Citizen Card for all members who have donated monthly to keep the site on line. The SCC will be a way for those members to continue their support while receiving added features, themes, site beta tests, and of course give-a-ways. The more people that sign up, the bigger the prizes.
To kick that off, we want to send out some some gifts to our current members as well as add a new category to our news section entitled contests. We are going to try and have these as much as we can through out the year for all SCC members and site supporters. It's just another way that we can say thank you for your support.
How will the Contest be Set Up?
Here is where things get tricky. People who enter this contest are not playing to win a copy of the game. Instead, contest members will be sponsoring another member of the site to win. Confused? Let me explain.
2old2play Members that already own Forza 2 will be competing to build the best 2old2play Car they can. The graphics should be completely 2old2play themed and should focus on older gamers, our clans, and of coarse the 2old2play name. The designers that enter the contest will post a picture of their car as well as the user name of another 2old2play member that they want the game to go to should they win. The winner of the contest will receive a T-shirt from the 2old2play Store, while the game will be sent to the sponsored member.
So maybe you have a clan mate out there that you really like, or maybe you think someone on the site should give Forza 2 a try. Either way, we think the best way to show off Forza 2 is to display how cool the cars can be when they are customized. And who doesn't want a 2o2p car?
You can enter the contest by going to this forum post and posting your 2o2p car, along with the name of the site member you want to enter into the contest. Please make sure you let that person know, to make sure they are ok with being sent that game (who wouldn't). Two weeks from today, the mods of 2old2play will judge the coolest 2old2play styled car and pick the winner based on votes. You can then pick you T-shirt from the 2old2play Store and the game will be sent to the player in your post.
What Are the Rules?
- You must be a member of 2old2play
- You must be 25 or older
- You must have become a member BEFORE 3/1/2007 to enter
- The "sponsored" player can not be someone that already owns the game
- You may only enter ONE car in this contest.
- Entries must be submitted at least 2 days before the contest ends
How Do I Enter?
Head on over to the off topic forum via this link or look for the sticky thread entitled Forza 2 Give a Friend a Car Contest. To enter, simply reply to this thread with your 2old2play Themed Car and the name of the 2o2p member you want to sponsor. Any thread jacks or off topic responses will be deleted, so everyone play nice and READ THE RULES.
