Stuck at work without a

Im new to the 2Old2Play community, so Im not really sure where to begin. ;;

Currently, I sit in my cubicle, dreaming of law school and wanting to blast the everloving crap out of beastly aliens in Prey. ;; The game now resides in my Xbox360, however, I am not with it at the moment. ;; After playing through some of the initial level this morning, I keep wanting to play more and see more of the incredible scenery and environments (though the blood and gore dont hurt, either). ;; Sad to say, though, is that I wont get to buy another game for a good long while. ;; My wife and I are now saving for a house and as a result, my gaming budget has now dwindled to basically nothing. ;;

On the upside, the wife has given permission to get a new TV once we buy the house. ;; While I will be surprised if someone actually reads my blog entries, any suggestions for a good projection TV would be appreciated. ;;

Welcome! Id renegotiate with the Mrs. on the \"no new games\" policy because 4th quarter of this year is going to be kicking for the 360. Gears of War, Splinter Cell, and Huxley come to mind. As for new HD TVs; I was sure if you were asking for recommendations on a projection TV or a HD projector. We have quite an active group on the sight.

I went with a plain old CRT HD projection TV, 57 inches of screen real-estate. You can now get them for a ridicule price as the newer ACLs are out. Its proven technology, its been around forever and they are giving them away.

Dont take TV advice from Bunsen - I taught him everything he knows. ;-P Technology (and prices) change so fast that the TV Id recommend today may not be the best deal 6 months from now. For more infomation than you could ever process, go to AVSForum.com. Best site on the web for HT gear. L8r.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Im probably going to wait a bit for some new tech to hit the market (primarily the 1080p Samsung DLP that uses an LED array instead of a traditional lamp). Plus, Ive got a 2nd job at Best Buy, so cost is a little less of an issue. \r \r I may trade some stuff in for COD2, Bunsen...I will, however, be getting Splinter and GOW...just gotta save up.
