Something good!

Something good about meeting up with folks in person like I was able to do on Saturday for a couple of hours at the 2o2p Lan. Got to talk with a bunch of folks and watched a bunch more playing their little hearts out. Talked with MikeJames, Doodi and TrashGuy, got to meet USCM1 and watched Phreak and Beldan (and others) playiing some great Halo 3 FFA in a tourney match. Of course I managed to spend some time with Pearly and Tdrag too. Also got to meet J-cat and talk about the non-gaming world and a little about Canada. All in all, a very enjoyable couple of hours.

Even though I sometimes feel a little old with such a bunch of young, active, hard drinking folks like them, I find it exciting and comforting to know that I am a part (little though it might be) of such a great bunch of people.
