How Halo: Combat Evolved Brings More Adventure Than Any Other FPS

(Cross-posted from my personal blog. Major shout-out to the ESGN community for the chance to play Halo: CE-A)

Published!

I dont' think I've mentioned it before, but since my first review in June 2008, I've been writing game reviews and gaming-related articles for my local newspaper (which I happen to work for). I was even lucky enough to get to interview two of the lead developers on the Playstation 3 hit God of War III when they were in Australia promoting the game!

The articles have appeared both in the pages of The Cairns Post and on its website, cairns.com.au. Some reviews were of promotional copies but more often than not, I've reviewed a game I bought.

50,000 Words And Still Not Done!

At the end of October, I posted that I was going to participate in NaNoWriMo, the National Novel Writing Month, an annual writing challenge that started in one corner of the States but, as is the way of Web-based things, spread around the globe. The aim of the challenge is to write fifty thousand words of the first draft of a novel with, at the most, only an outline to work from. You can’t continue a project that you’ve already started drafting; the most you can have done in terms of preparation is an outline.

Bak Sun Ritin Novul

Sheesh, has it only been a week since I joined up? Somehow I feel as though I've been lurking around this site for at least a month. But no, there it is on my profile; I joined on October 22nd, 2010. So just nine days; in that time I've introduced myself, sent FRs to the 2o2p Reach tags and posted on a few threads. Just now I saw another thread where someone told a fellow newbie how he was meant to use the Reach tags, which made the penny finally drop - I'm meant to use it to FR fellow Reach players. Right!

Which is horrid timing, because now I'm stepping out.
