Last weekend Durty and I got to get out of the house and see a concert here in town.  Job for a Cowboy, Gwar, and Lamb of God.....excellent show, my only complaint was the drink getting process.  It was held at a place called The Shrine Mosque.  Run by a bunch of  Shriners,  they have the Circus there, anyway.....you go to one side, go in one line to get your wristband, go into another line to pay 4 dollars for a wooden nickel.  You then take the wooden nickel to another room to trade it for drinks.  Beers are one wooden nickel $4, mixed drinks were two wooden nickels, $8, and shots were th

It was a Zombiefest tonight......did the Zombie kill challenge friday night, 4 kids, 1 hour each of L4D, and Nazi Zombie...1st place went to Durty's youngest Kory, he got 868 kills between the two games.

And Halloween night, we took them to an older Neighborhood that specializes in Halloween, every house is made up, and everyone in the houses are usually made up...it was a packed neighborhood.  We walked about 12 block's, filled the kids bags sufficently, and came home.

So the World Series is playing in the background as I sit down for dinner, and they are announcing the starting line up....and I hear Star Wars music....Darth Vader's march to be exact...at first, I thought maybe there was a Star Wars game in one of the Xbox's playing....but upon further investegation....no....the Philly's came out to the Empire theme, and the Yankee's came out to the Rebel's theme.

This annoyes me.  Star Wars and Baseball do not, and should not mix.
