So I picked up the game that I wanted to buy a 360 - Guitar Hero 3. Rock On. The new Les Paul wireless controller kicks some serious ass. I played for about 8 hours yesterday so my hands hurt a bit this morning :) I went through all of medium and half of hard. Then I rocked some multiplayer with SirPoonga (which we totally tore up).

I only listened to the end-song of Portal when I beat the game a couple of weeks ago. I forgot how totally awesome it was until DSmooth sent me a high-quality MP3 of the song this morning. I think I've listened to it about 5 times in a row now :) Portal is going to have a cult following for years and years to come.

A friend of mine sent me these links the other day. This guy takes guitar playing to a level I've never seen before.

This is a pretty fun little game. I was messing around with the 360 a bit more last night and plopped the 400 points for Uno. Played with some random people and had a blast. Granted...I didn't win a single match but it was still pretty cool! I think I definitely need to max out my friends list so I can play with other 2o2p'ers though....

I have had no interest in picking up a 360 yet because frankly, no games really caught my interest. I picked up Guitar Hero 2 for my brothers PS2 (he lives with us) and I've been playing the shit out of that game. I already have a Wii so the logical choice would be to get GH3 for that...but Rock Band isn't too far behind GH3...and I'll need a 360 for that :)

The first few days during the TF2 beta I really thought they nerfed the pyro pretty bad. After a few weeks of playing it, I would have to say it's one of my favorite classes. In particular it's amazing when it's combined with an engineer for defense. On offense he's incredibly fun for those special moments when you *know* 5 guys are huddled together trying to hold down that last control point. I know I won't survive...but I know damn well 5 guys are going down with me.

And lets face it...that mask is fucking awesome.
