There have been several folks here at 2old2play who are recently out of work and so I feel a little self conscious about worrying about money when I have it so much better off than some.

But here goes.

Im worried about our economy. Really worried. I wouldnt call it panic as I know I will get by whatever happens, but I think our country is in for some serious economic pain.

So I was in Cincinatti the other night for work.  I asked around and it turns out it doesnt exist.

Not that I thought any of the people were real.  But at least the station...The call sign.

This hurts almost as much as the cake being a lie.

To add insult to injury my mid 20's flight attendant had never heard of WKRP.

I feel so old.

As I stated before, Im married to a Japanese woman.  Part of my reality is that Thanksgiving just doesnt translate into japanese.  Well, the original intent of Thanksgiving does, but the Holiday as practiced by the typical American does not.

So Im heading out on a trip today till Saturday.

Usually we stay in all sorts of hotels, but this week by chance has me staying in all Radisons.  They have some sort of partnership with sleepnumber so all hotels at least in North America use those beds.

Well, Im not a fan.

For those who havenet seen the bionic womans commercial, they are essentially an adjustable air mattress.

So Im heading out on a trip today till Saturday.

Well, my launch era 360 bit the dust.  It may have had a little help..but thats all unconfirmed rumor.

Anyway, I exchanged it for the 360 arcade with my BB rplacement plan.

I like the arcade for a couple reasons:

My old system was a core as that was my only choice during the launch shortage.

I like the white dvd tray and eject button over the chrome on on the premiums.

5 free games and the memory unit are things I will actually use rather than ebay all the extraneous parts that come with a premium.

Hello World!

Well, I've never done this before so bear with me.

Well, Im 37 (38 in Jan).   Married with 2 step daughters (Tina is 14 and Kim is 11).  My wife is from Okinawa which is part of Japan for those that dont know.  We've been married for 3 1/2 years although we have been together for about 10.  We also have 3 ferrets (Junior, Bo Bo, and Bear).
