R.i.P. Bruiser

I've been lucky in life that only one person I was truly close with has passed away. Dogs, on the other hand, seem to go much faster than I think they should.

This morning I lost my min pin, Bruiser. He was just over two years old, but had his issues with blood sugar. I guess his heart finally gave out, but still feel like he should have been around longer than he was.

I don't know exactly why I'm blogging this...perhaps it's just to get my feelings out in the open because there are so many emotions working on overdrive right now.

I'll miss you, little man.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Our animals seem to be a bigger part of our lives than most think, especially when they leave us.

You don't really expect how they just creep into your life. \r \r He was a good boy, but he was never a bong kinda dog.

Aw man, two years really is short. Just try to remember how happy he was and even though his life was short, you did your best to make it a good one for him. Sorry to hear it man.

Same here... sorry. Too bad more people weren't like dogs, would make the world a better place.

Even later, I've reflected on the loss of my dog and it is a crappy thing to go through. Hopefully by now its a bit easier to cope and the good memories remain.
