Portal: Still Alive

What a fantastic game!!!

No one was on Saturday afternoon to play Halo 3, so I took some time to view the new game demos that were available on the marketplace.

Resident Evil 5: Couldnt figure out what to do at all. Looks pretty but didnt play right IMHO

F.E.A.R. 2: I shat my pants... twice!  Seriously scary game! Might have to pick this up.

Then I played Portal. I heard it was fun and got numerous accolades and awards. What a great concept. This had it all. Great gameplay, challenging

levels and fantastic humor. I bought it right away. Now I know that it is available with Orange Box for $30 so the $15 price tag was a bit high. However,

you get an extra 14 levels added on to the already great campaign. I can see that someone with the Orange Box wouldnt go for it, but if you don't

have it, get this game. I am hooked. I actually finished the campaign which is rare for me because of the 10 or so games I have, I have actually finished

maybe 3 (gears 1 & 2 and Halo3).

Im going to replay it so many times to get the achievments and just because its so fun. The physics engine is brilliant and just figuring out how to

complete a challenge and then doing it was so rewarding. I wish there were more than the original 19 levels +14 extra ones. I could play this game forever if they

add more DLC.

*Now im going to eat some cake!
