If my daughter was a minor, I would make sure a firearm was registered in my name and loaded. I would discuss \"targets of opportunity\" with her, and be sure my daughter had readily available access to the tools to defend herself. Then I would figure out a way to \"invite\" said person into my home...

House is way to close to the highway, I'd never live there, too loud. So the problem wouldn't exist.
crazy laws would make it difficult to prove he was going to rape her - so it could look as though a minor with a handgun shot a man - maybe you could argue he is a convicted rapist, but why is he on the street? If he raped her then she used the gun, she would have an easier time arguing self defense... I know, it's f-d up, but sometimes the law only \"protects\" people after the crime occurs...\r
