And another thing ...
This story reminded me of a rambling diatribe I saw on MSNBC the other day (the only 5 minutes of cable news I've seen all year) where they cover how the President "went street", which in turn recalled another video that's been rattling around in the back of my head for a few weeks now. All of these comments are patently racist and I'm tired of certain individuals getting a pass on it because they look like they feel guilty for it or because they "mean well". Just so we are perfectly clear, there is no "Black President of the United States", there is only "The President of the United States". For that matter, he is *my* president, and when you talk about him in this way it demeans him, it demeans the office and it PISSES ME OFF. So quit it.

In Illinois Obama voted \"present\" so many times, including on issues that really mattered, that no one really knows what he is willing to stand up for, if he is willing to stand up at all. But as Karl Rove said (and yes, I vomited in my mouth a little but he occasionally get's it right) \"present\" isn't an option for the Presidency. Needing to have people tell you to get pissed off and kick ass kind of detracts from the whole \"leadership\" concept. Of course, I think I was questioning his lack of experience about 20 months ago.
