So I need a new hobby, something that gets me out of the house and hopefully gives me the chance to make some new friends. I have decided to join a gun club and start doing some target shooting. There is a gun club here in the city I live in and I sent an email to fella the website tells me to get in contact with. Unfortunately he hasn't sent me an email back yet and its been almost 3 weeks. He could be on vacation but I thought might as well send another email to one of the other guys. Who knows maybe this guy is in jail and they just haven't updated the website yet.

This time with pics. I made all different meals this time and again they turned out pretty good. I am suprised by how easily I am cooking these up. Anyways here we have Old fashioned white bread, pork pie, buttered turnips (with mozzarella and parmesan), then some buttered carrots with scallions, seasoned yellow beans and for dessert  baked apples and some meringue cookies. The meringue cookies weren't in the cook book but i had leftover egg whites. I also learned that if there is eavy the tinniest bit of egg yolk in the egg whitesm the meringue will not become stiff.

So my wife bought a cook book called "A feast of Fire and Ice". All meals inspired by dishes mentioned in those books (Game of thrones). Aslo each recipe has the medievil version and a modern version. I gave her heck for buying it as I thought we will never use it. Anyways a couple days later I start thunmbing through the pages... noticing yummy things making note of needed special ingredients. 

I made beer battered cheese curds today! They were a disaster! When they said I could deep fry cheese I shoulda asked to try ice-cream! It was a frakking mess. Melted fat filled cheese on one side, burnt and nasty batter on the other.  Not a single one turned out. 

Its hit an miss with me. Some recipes I feel like a god when I make them, then others totally destroy any fanciful idea that I may have the slightest clue as to whats happening in the kitchen.

Nice vid describing it. Parts got me very interested. Still a little sick of the whole FPS thing but this game looks like it gots some star potential.

So With the excitement of Skyrim, Mass effect3, and in a wee bit Armored Core 5, I forgot! Forgot about Firefall; the shooter/mmo that will be F2P. Thanx to a pm from another member my memory was jogged and i decided I should see whats what in the Firefall world. I found this vid from Extra Credits; they are really impressed with the work being done by red5 studios to get the F2P game model to work, and work well.
