Oops!!!

My bff and brother-in-law called me tonight about 9:30 asking for a favor.  He was at a work related dinner party, had too much to drink and asked me to come pick him up.  Of course I agreed right away and jumped in the car.  I get to the street and find it is a neighborhood of large set-back houses where the house numbers were not on display.  At this moment, my brother-in-law calls asking where I was.  I told him I was on the street looking for the house and he said to just come in, grab a beer in the cooler by the front door and come upstairs.  About 30 seconds later I come up to a house with a bunch of cars outside so I park my car, walk up and enter the front door.  I look around but don't see a cooler.  I see a kitchen so I figure it's there and walk towards it.  I spot a chef in the kitchen and come up to a doorway on my left and peek into a large formal dining room where there are about 12 people sitting around a table.  Older people.  People certainly not in my brother-in-law's circle.  

HOLY FUCK!  I JUST WALKED INTO SOME RANDOM DUDE'S DINNER PARTY!  

I did a quick 180, walked out the front door, jumped in my car and GTF out of dodge.  About a half mile down the street I found another house with a few cars parked on the street and there was my brother in law standing on the front lawn.....whew, finally made it to the party.  Now I don't know anyone from my brother-in-law's work, but my story sure was an ice breaker!   I spent a couple of hours there, had a great time and made some new friends.  What a crazy night.....
