New Hobby
I'v never been a collector of really anything. When I was a kid I would buy comics and such but never really got into anything collectible.
For the past few weeks I have been ordering some "Adult" Toys (you dirty dirty people...not those, that's for another blog).
I have really gotten into the Urban Vinyl toys. There are a lot of companies out there that make them, mainly based off of graffiti or graphic designers art. The companies have a model base and let the various artists design the templates for the toy. Big players are companies like Kidrobot and Toy2R.
Here's what I have picked up so far:
Anyone else here collect Urban Vinyl?

Look pretty sweet Dank...I just wanted to post before the spambots took over :)
they look like the Star Wars muggs I collect. I display them in my china hutch. Star Wars >>>> fancy plates.\r
\r
Not sure who makes those Star Wars things, I'll have to check.
Those are cool, Dank!! I don't collect anything. I attribute it to growing up with a hoarder. ;)\r

I like the bunny robot.
I confess...I have a couple of manga and anime figurines....I love your 2Tone Dunny (Cutest Borg Bunny, resistance is futile!). Do you like the Dunnies best?\r
\r
I admit I like 'em but I don't have anywhere to display them really and um, I just don't want any more stuff to dust. Your collection is off to a sweet start. Very cool. \r

Try www.myplasticheart.com They are out of New York and prices are all over the place but you might find something that stirs your desires there. \r

I'd say www.thinkgeek.com I love them but...I don't really remember many vinyls (not a single Dunny anyway) as much as plushies (for softer geeks I guess) but if you are into Star Wars, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Serenity, WoW, the Sciences, oh geez they have all kinds of crap for the collectible types. \r

When can we expect the \"another blog\" - I might want to bookmark you? \r
i don't even know where DOMO comes from but, he is awesome!
