My boxer briefs

This morning while I was getting ready I noticed my boxer briefs have the letters 'F T L' stitched all around the waistband and I thought, what a shame they didn't name the company Fruit of the Weave.

Ugh

After my first night back in City of Heroes, I now remember why I love console gaming so much! So complicated.  I go to the game forums, thinking 'Let's find out what I should do with my character' and see sooooo much detail--TK MA CK DM FB IO SS CoT STF etc etc...this is .003 DPS more than that, never use this kick because the recharge rate is 45% slower than that one, etc etc.  I understand these are all hardcore gamers trying to be the absolute BEST, finding flavor-of-the-month and whatnot, but geez!!!!

They got me.

Confessions of an MMO dabbler?

This weekend City of Heroes offered a 'come check us out again' free weekend for lapsed accounts, and I bit.  It was always one of my favorite MMO's.  Well I reactivated the account today, why not? I had given up on PC gaming a while back when my friend bought DDO and it was screwing up my computer--or my computer was screwing up the game, whatever.  I got completely fed up with having to upgrade and fix my PC all the damn time, thank goodness for the 360. But now....I'll give it another shot, I always thought the game was fun.

Damn marketing gurus.

So I've been playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance a lot lately. The new characters are pretty cool, but the game was great to begin with.  I was a comic fiend as a young lad--I had subscriptions to The X-Men, Indiana Jones and a few different Spider-Man comics over the years.   Plus I was a fiend for any sort of miniseries.  Yeah, if only I'd kept all those comics rather than carrying them around in my back pocket, ripping off the covers and smearing the pages.  I still remember how much I loved that Rocket Raccoon series.
