National Geographic

I just opened my latest National Geographic and they say humans are causing the world to heat up and it's going to be CATASTROPHIC!!!!!!!!!

I am going to take it upon myself to look into this. I am going to take temperature readings outside my house every day, starting in December.  I'm going to do it for oh, say eight months, that should give me a pretty good idea right?  If the temperature goes up every day then I will prove global warming, just like the scientists do it.  The end.

The Latest Super-Smart Marketing Idea

I have been having internet problems for the past week.  Occasionally my modem resets and when it comes back up, the 'online' light is steadily blinking. I've tried all of the standard fixes that Cox will tell you about when you phone in, despite you telling them that you've done it already--unplug this. Unplug that. Restart this. Restart that. Wait it didn't work? No dipshit, I've restarted everything 10 times already as I told you before.

Awesome show

The other day I was in the huge ass Target by my house and lo and behold, what do I see but the box set of The Black Donnellys! If you didn't watch this show when it was on TV, you should check it out--I think there are actually a few places to view it online, but I don't know much about watching TV through the web other than ITunes.  I got hooked on this show during the first episode and absolutely loved it. For some reason it was canceled after 6 or 7 episodes, very strange because the acting and writing were fantastic.

Nike commercial

I have the Last of the Mohicans theme song stuck in my head because of the below commercial. The first time this commercial came on I rewound to watch it two times. Football season is back and there have already been some great games. I went to the Cardinals game where they surprisingly won, and we were listening to the Browns/Bengals game on the way out there. What the hell happened to these guys???? Makes me glad I drafted Palmer and Johnson with my first two picks even though people sneered at my not taking any early running backs.
