With the Reach Beta now officially over it is time to once again get back to the other games that I have been neglecting since it all began. Over the course of the next few weeks I also intend to post my impressions of the Beta. Each post will be on a single subject (i.e. weapons, maps, playlists, aramor abilities, etc.). I will endeavor to give an honest and constructive assessment of how well or how poorly I believe each aspect of the Beta was executed. I will ultimately conclude my review with an overall impression of the Beta and what I hope to see in the retail release.

There is no doubting that mother’s are important people. They sacrifice their bodies for 9 months (more or less) allowing us to grow until such time as we are able to potentially survive the transition into this earthly environment. Face it, babies (in vitro), are parasites. We usurp a portion of our mothers food supply, we set their natural body chemistry all out-of-whack, and we provide little or no benefits in return.

So here's the thing. I watched the 200th episode of South Park the other night. As usual it was funny. As is also usual, it courted controversy by satirically poking at a subject considered sacred by some. That is much of what makes South Park such a joy to watch. The irreverent approach to the world, as seen through the eyes of 4 foul-mouthed children and the community they live in, is the very reason they have any success.

For those who may not have seen my clan posts, I'm finally back. A month and a half of reflection and recuperation has been quite enlightening. I've found myself again, which is a good thing. Now to see to it that I don't get "lost" again. I look forward to spending time with my friends here, playing games and continuing to build on what we have. Anyway, it's good to be back, and now, let's go have some fun!

I know I said I was going to fast until Easter Sunday but I felt the need to say this. To all my Canadian friends, congratulations. That was one helluva game.
