2O2P and the wife

Well, I was talking to my wife about some of the happenings of 202P and the people I play with. She's seen Dante/Mr. Incredible's Halo 40s video, which I make a few appearances in. So I'm sitting on the couch getting ready for a round of Halo and she says, "so, can I get on and play with you?" Now, before the kid we used to play Quake Arena. One funny memory we had was playing on Valentine's Day. Each time we'd frag the other we'd shout "Happy Valentines Day." It was really funny and a blast. So she's no stranger to games.

New Phone

Well, my cellphone bit the dust. I went out and treated myself to a silver Mororola Razr. Sweet phone - everything I didn't like about my previous Motorola phone is addressed with this one. Buttons are big enough, and I can even sync the sucker with my G5 Mac using ISync. It's really nice to have the address book and my calendars automatically put in the phone. I even splurged on the Bluetooth wireless headset, because I think our state is heading in the direction of making hands-free cellphones while driving a law.

My job

In case anybody is wondering what I do for a living - I'm a High School Teacher. The best part is that I teach guitar. Yep, all day playing guitar. Although it does get boring sometimes when your students still can't play a really simple movable scale pattern. We do classical, fingerstyle as well as electric guitar stuff in class. I have 4 levels: Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, and Advanced-Select. This coming year I have around 115 students. That's obviously where my gamertag comes from. Many people when they find out what I do ask, do you play a lot? Are you in a band?

Hardware store

OK, we went to Lowes today to get some closet shelving, etc. to redo my son's closet. Saturday, 10:30 am, biggest and most popular hardware store in our suburbia. 2 cashiers working, but they had 4 "Self Serve" registers. Needless to say, the 2 cashiers had these huge lines and the Self Serve had hardly anyone and those that did worked really slow. I hate those things. I just don't get why the stores think this is so great, other than saving money. It isn't faster because by the time the idiots in front of you figure the damn thing out, 3 people have gone through the cashier's line.

First blog entry. Will I keep doing this?

Alright, this is my first Blog. Gotta be honest, always felt they were stupid. Who'd want to read about this crap anyway? Well, I've read some other 2o2p blogs and have to admit, it is interesting learning about the people I've been playing with and getting to know. I'm trying to get my pic of my family up top, but have to figure out what the resolution would be to get it without the resizing. Maybe I can get to that in the next few days. I don't know if I'll keep up with this or not. Guess I'll try it for awhile and see.
