Has anyone used Amazon pre-order for game products which say they will be at my door on launch day? My wife and I ordered World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King today and it says we'll have it on launch day - any truth to that? I'd have no problem standing in line at midnight except for it would be the day I have to go from work to my German language class to come home and do 2old2type radio podcast then head out for a midnight launch... that's a bit much for me mentally and physically. So, Amazon seemed like a good bet. Hopefully we get it on release day.

Okay, I'm back in the hotel, a bit tipsy. Some folks at the event got a bit drunk... by a bit, I mean, not sure if they're sleeping in the hallway or their room. Interesting.

In 15-minutes I'll be hopping on board a shuttle to head over to the launch party for Bejeweled Twist. Then, tomorrow at 5 a.m heading home, finally, after a week and some change of being on the road from California, to Chicago to Washington State. With a 2 hour delay in O'hare thanks to their windy city (who the crap thought it was a good idea to make this a huge hub of the industry) I got to bed in the hotel in Seattle around 2am.

Now, I prepare for the last trip of the journey. At least it should be nothing but a good time. Dressed business "casual" of course.
