So last night I had one of those fatherhood moments that reduce a tough guy to a little pool of drively mush. I don't know if I can convey this properly or even if a non-parent could really grasp it. So here we go, it was really a simple occurrence but somehow it just really hit me. It was about 8:40pm and my daughter Ella was just exhausted, she was totally done and wanted to let everyone know. Church stuff went a bit late Wednesday night and since she is usually in bed by 7:00pm by 8:00pm she was not happy about being awake. If I tried to set her down, she would freak out.

So tonight by 7:30pm my wife will be at work and my daughter will be asleep.  This will leave my world open for a good quality run until 2:00am for halo.  We are talking about being able to nearly put in seven straight hours.

So I just want to openly declare my love for ATC. A couple months back I offered to buy the code for the Mythic map pack from him, and he declined. He did however want to give me the code for free. I never would have been able to afford buying the Halo Wars LE and therefor would have ended up having to sit and wait for another month until the maps are released on market place. The wait would have driven me CRAZY! So I just wanted to say thank you one more time, and make sure that as many people as possible would know what a great guy you are ATC.

So I have a bunch of stuff to blog about and it is all super cute, because it involves my daughter.

She is learning to identify objects and has red apples down (she is super smart and thankfully takes after her Momma). I wanted to text grandma a video of her doing this cause it is a good developmental step and because of her sweet celebration dance at the end it had to be shared here. It looks familiar to what Daddy does while playing halo.

Quick Ella update:

She is a goofy little girl, a week and a half ago she decided she was done with being spoon fed.  She will barely let us feed her any food.  She wants to feed herself all the time.  She is only 11 months old.  What in the world am I in for when my 11 month old daughter is already acting to big for her britches.  Here she is investigating green beans.
