Ok I finished the campaign last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. A little on the easy side but it was good while it lasted.

I've started to dip my toe in MP and predictably I got my ass kicked. If anyone wants to play together or has any good tips for not getting sniped every 5 seconds let me know.

Otherwise it might be back to Bad Company 2 full time.

Ok MOH is out in Europe tomorrow. I have it preordered but should I go ahead with the purchase? Reviews are very mixed. Any advice?

You might know although I'm not a native speaker I have a keen interest in the Irish language and I've just finished a diploma in the language.  While playing through Halo Reach I came across a word of Irish origin and thought I might share it's history.

I'm playing through Tales of Vesperia at the moment.  This is the first JRPG I've spent significant time on for a few years.  I played more than my fair share (every Final Fantasy except 13 for example ) in the past however and just got generally tired of the genre.

So I went into ToV knowing what to expect and I am actually enjoying it a lot.  One thing thats annoying the hell out of me though is the constant apologizing especially from Estelle. A typical conversation goes something like this:

Someone gets whacked.

Estelle: "I'm sorry for letting you get hurt"

Well we did it.  We won 2-1 after extra time.  The game played out similar to the World Cup final in many ways, barring the skill, pace, passion and fans obviously.  I thought we were the better team overall and the other team kicked lumps out of us and were very lucky to finish with 11 men.  At the end, we scored the winning goal with about 1 minute left in extra time.  That was a sweet victory.

The soccer team I play for are in the league final this evening. It’s not a very high standard but I’m really looking forward to it.  We lost the final last year against the team we are playing again tonight so it would be great to beat them. They are probably slightly stronger but we have a couple of really good players so you never know what might happen.  Plus it’s been pouring rain all week so the conditions might suit us…..
