Well now that things have settled a bit and we're down to making things pretty and small bug fixes I'd like to ask you guys what's next?  What would you like to see us do with V3 to make it easier to use, navigate and ultimately build a better site for more older gamers to join and play along side?

You can now have the site keep track of your birth date and age by clicking on the settings option at the top right of the site and entering in your Birth Date.  The site will automatically update your age and keep track of it each year.   You can also get birth day reminds for other site members as well.  

I'm going to look at building a cool sort feature as well so people can find gamers in a certain age bracket or sort by oldest to youngest members.  Let me know how it works for you all.  Thanks

So now that the dust is settling and we are starting to fix bugs, add new functionality, and boost the sites speed, I'd like to get some brutal opinions about what you currently don't like about the site and even more importantly how we can make it better.

Luckily for me, the members of 2old2play have never had a problem with brutal honesty, but they do sometimes lack the ability to verbalize what they specifically take issue with.  So I'm hoping that some of you can articulate just what bugs you about V3 and maybe what you would like to see in the future.

We recently reset permissions to test a fix for admins in groups that couldn't edit pages or sticky posts.  It may have told you there were no post, but it was really because the permissions didn't stick.  Becuase of this, just note that forums might be funky for a day or so while I go through fixes.  I try to test things late at night when no one is on, but it died after I made the change last night.

So things "seem" to be stable on the server end and all the hardware has been installed.  Over the next couple weeks we will be working to fix up groups and get them to where everyone is remotely happy (we know thats not possible for some).  

Before that however lets have a word about the content from V2.  

Hey guys, we're testing this out (not telling people its up) to see what kind of load the server can take.  D and I are going to monitor the site tonight and see if we still have issues with speed and load times.  Currently groups and clan fuctions are turned off while we check things out.  You can still post in your clan forum, but ATM it is completely open so if you want to talk about how stupid 2o2p is, how dumb another clan is, or had upset you are at the changes just be aware that anyone logged into 2o2p can read it.    

I know how slow the site has been running and I'm truely sorry about it.  I'm doing everything in my power to get us to a stable version of the site ASAP.  I just had the dedicated server upgraded with more CPU and I have double the RAM coming some time this week.
