Apple Apps Question
Doing a little research. I don't have an iPhone, iPod, iPad, or iAnything. Basicall I am iIgnorant. I am a high school teacher and I am trying to bring some new technology into the classroom for the kids. I have found an app called Flashcards. I assume you can put definitions on one side and the word on the other and quiz yourself like many of us did years ago with real flashcards. My question is this, is this something I can make ahead of time and if the kids want to download it to their iPods, they can or is this something the kids will have to do on their own? I figure they might use it if I do the hard part. Just wondering if anybody has used this and if it will work like I am trying to do with it.

Well you got one thing right, you're ignorant. \r

Sorry, I can't help you with the app. I've never used it. Just google it.
I have a flash card app, but the user has no control and cannot edit them. You are basically stuck with what they provide which is typical numbers/letters/shapes/etc. and the vast majority of flash card apps really are only applicable for elementary age students.\r

I looked on the App Store for you real quick and did find a couple where you can design your own, though reviews on them were mixed. I just can't think of any way you could share it though, at least easily. The way you described that you would like to do it would require you to design/build the App and put it on the store as the vendor. You would have to go through the legwork and requirements that Apple requires though for people that design apps. Probably a lot more work than you would want.
